ImmPRINT (Immunization Provider Registry with Internet Technology) is a statewide population-based information system for all children born in Alabama since January 1, 1993. Vaccine histories are also available for patients of all ages if they have been to a county health department or see a private provider enrolled in ImmPRINT.

As of December 29, 2013, Alaska regulations require that all immunizations given by a healthcare provider in Alaska be reported to VacTrAK within 14 days of administration. This requirement is applicable for any vaccine administered, including state-supplied and privately purchased vaccines.

Arkansas WebIZ - First launched in June of 2013, WebIZ information system has improved and streamlined the reporting process and currently serves as a single, consolidated repository of a patient’s immunization history.

CAIR - Currently contains over 120 million immunization records. ImmTrac is an opt-in registry, meaning a patient must give consent before immunization records will be stored. After the age of 18, the patient must give adult consent to continue participation in ImmTrac.
San Joaquin / Imperial / San Diego - Has been the San Antonio immunization repository system since 1980. It currently contains over 1.3 million records and is an opt-out registry, meaning patients must request that their information be withheld from the system if they choose.

Pharmacists can administer immunizations to any age.

CIIS - The Colorado Immunization Information System (CIIS) is a confidential, population-based, computerized system that collects and consolidates vaccination data for Coloradans of all ages from a variety of sources.

Florida SHOTS - Began loading birth records from the Office of Vital Statistics in January 2003. As of that date, all children born in Florida have been automatically added to the system, as well as other children who receive services at county health departments or from private providers that use the system. As of October 5, 2007, more than 6.06 million shot records have been added to the registry via data upload.

GRITS - Since July 2004, GRITS is the state’s birth, death, and immunization registry to collect and maintain accurate, complete, and current immunization records in compliance with Georgia law and national health standards.

Hawaii Immunization Registry (HIR) - HIR was originally launched as a pilot project in 2008. Today, there are over 752,000 distinct patient records and over 2.9 million immunizations entered into HIR.
State Requirements:
Reporting is mandated for pharmacies administering flu immunizations to children aged 14-17.
No other entities are required to report.

ICARE - The Illinois Comprehensive Automated Immunization Registry Exchange (ICARE) is an immunization registry developed and managed by the Illinois Department of Public Health. As of March 2014, ICARE contained 7.55 million patient records.

Children & Hoosier Immunization Registry Program (CHIRP) - CHIRP was first implemented in 2002. To date, there are over 2.2 million patient records - containing nearly 18 million vaccinations - available through this web-based system. All private provider data in CHIRP is provided voluntarily.

Iowa’s Immunization Registry Information System (IRIS) - Iowa transitioned to a web-based immunization registry in June 2012. As of January 2014, IRIS contains over 2.9 million patient records and over 26.6 million immunizations.
