Email Updates

This feature allows authorized users to upload a Bounce or Unsubscribe file from Constant Contact (a third-party emailing fulfillment vendor) for bounced or bad emails, unsubscribed email addresses, and emails awaiting confirmation. The application updates the records based on the information in the file.

To run this feature, enter the desired From Date (or leave the default date), select the file type (Bounce or Unsubscribe), select the file by clicking Choose File and navigating to the file, and then click Bad/Unsubscribed Emails Update. The process may take some time, depending on how often it is run. Once the process completes, the From Date field updates to the current date.

The process performs three types of queries/updates:

Bounced/Bad Emails

When this type of file is uploaded, if the Constant Contact file contains a bounced/bad email address, the guardian and patient information is used to match with the correct patient in the IIS. The Health Promotion Patient [Detail] page fields are updated as follows:

Unsubscribed Emails

When this type of file is uploaded, if the Constant Contact file has an unsubscribed email address, the guardian and patient information are used to match with the correct patient in the IIS. The Health Promotion Patient [Detail] page fields are updated as follows:
