This option is used for defining the additional business rules that are applied to the Waitlist report.
Items defined in dark gray boxes are the matching values and the items in the yellow boxes are the output values. Output values override the Admin Code Mapping, Type Mapping, CPT Code Mapping, TXN Code Mapping, and DX Code Mapping fields that are configured in the Waitlist Codes option. For an example, a patient received "Influenza split, 36+ months" and the report was run with the following parameters:
The application attempts to find an encounter logic rule that matches:
To access this option, click the Administration > Settings > Waitlist Encounter Logic Administration link. The Waitlist Encounter Code Logic page opens. To add a new one, enter at least the Vaccine Code. To edit one, click the arrow button next to the vaccine code.
The available fields at the top of the Waitlist Encounter Code Logic page are as follows. Fields highlighted in yellow can be edited. Fields highlighted in gray provide the current codes in the database table.

Description |
The vaccine description. This overwrites the description that displays on the report, so it is actually an output value (even with the gray background). |
Insurance |
The numeric value for insurance. |
Patient Minimum Age |
The minimum age of the patient represented in months. |
Patient Maximum Age |
The maximum age of the patient represented in months. |
Vaccine Code |
The vaccine code from the drop-down list. |
Lot Type |
The alphabetical letter of the lot (S = State or Publicly Supplied; P = Private or Privately Supplied) |
Program |
The identifying number for the program. |
Pay Status |
The pay status. |
Visit Type |
The type of visit. |
Homeless |
The patient's living environment. Examples: Emergency Shelter, Homeless, Not Homeless. |
Waive Fee Reason |
The reason the fee was waived. Example: CD Risk, Donated Vaccine, Research Study. |
Admin Code Mapping |
Enter the administrative code used for mapping. This field is considered an output value because it changes the display on the report output for the matching line. |
Type Mapping |
Enter the alphabetical code for mapping type. This value does not display on the report output, but if this value is set, it is taken into account when the subsequent codes are processed. |
CPT Code Mapping |
Enter the CPT code for mapping. This field is considered an output value because it changes the display on the report output for the matching line. |
TXN Code Mapping |
Enter the transaction code for mapping. This field is considered an output value because it changes the display on the report output for the matching line. |
DX Code Mapping |
Enter the diagnosis code for mapping. This field is considered an output value because it changes the display on the report output for the matching line. |
Click the arrow button next to a vaccine to copy the information to the fields at the top of the page.
The columns at the bottom of the page are as follows:
