Responder - Administration Menu
The First Responder Administration menu link opens the Administration
Main Menu page in the First Responder module, which only contains one
item: Required Fields. Click this to select or deselect required fields
used in the application. If a required field setting is enabled, it forces
the user to make an entry in the field while using the module. The enabled
fields display in red, indicating they are mandatory. Example required
fields are:
- VIS Publication
Date - The Vaccine Information Sheet (VIS) is a publication
containing information regarding an immunization. The sheets are periodically
updated, reprinted, and tracked within the application. Select this
field to make it a required entry for users.
- Anatomical
Site - Select this field to require users to enter the location
of an injection. Note that when adding vaccinations for DTaP, MMR,
IPV, and Varicella, this field may be automatically populated. See
the FR Settings Menu topic for information
about anatomical site defaults in a user's personal settings.
To enable a required field (meaning users are required to enter a value
in the field before saving information on a page), select it and click
Update Settings. Click Check All
to select all of the fields, Clear All
to clear all of the fields, or Cancel
to cancel any changes without saving.
