Local File Message Transfers

PHC Hub supports polling a local directory for files containing HL7 messages that are available to upload. This functionality is only useful to the PHC Hub operators as it can only examine directories on the PHC Hub server. This transfer type cannot be used to read files from remote systems such as those located at immunization provider practices.

You can test the local file message transfer by entering the following data into the Realtime Interface test form (Import Profiles > Realtime Interface):

• USERID - The HL7 account username
• PASSWORD - The HL7 account password
• FACILITY - Leave this field blank
• MESSAGEDATA - The HL7 message. Replace any test data that is already there
