Scheduled Reports

Most of the reports can be scheduled to run immediately, run once on a certain day at a certain time, or run multiple times in the future. Once the report has run, it appears to the selected users on the Scheduled Reports page.

To access the Scheduled Reports page, click the Reports > Scheduled Reports menu link.

The Scheduled Reports page has two tab sections: Saved Reports and View and Edit Scheduled Reports.

Saved Reports Tab

When a user schedules a report to run immediately (instead of clicking Create Report and having the report appear in a new browser tab or window), it appears in the Saved Reports tab section. This is also true of reports that another user has scheduled to run immediately when you are selected to have access to it.

If the list of saved reports is a long one, you can search for a specific report by entering a few characters of the report name or receipt date in the Search Saved Reports field. This list narrows to show only the reports containing those characters (or date numbers). You can also adjust the number of reports displayed in the list by selecting 10, 25 (default), 50 or 100 from the Displaying ___ Results per Page drop-down list.

Note that these are completed reports; the report parameters and scheduled run times cannot be changed.

The list of saved reports displays the following:

Column/Button Description

View (button)

Click this button to view the report in a new browser tab or window.

Report Name

The name assigned to the report when it was scheduled.

Report Type

The type of report it is.

Receipt Date

The day the report was run.

Delete (Delete icon)

Click this icon to delete the report from the list.

If the list of reports is long, page numbers appear under the list. Click on a page number to view the additional reports.

View and Edit Scheduled Reports Tab

Reports that are scheduled by the user to run in the future can be edited in the View and Edit Scheduled Reports tab section. Both the report parameters and the scheduled run times can be modified.

First, locate the report in the list, then click the Edit icon for the report. To search for a specific report, enter a few characters of the report name or receipt date in the Search Scheduled Reports field. The list narrows to show only the reports containing those characters (or date numbers).

To adjust the number of reports displayed in the list, select 10, 25 (default), 50 or 100 from the Displaying ___ Results per Page drop-down list.

The columns and buttons available in the reports list section of the page are as follows:

Column/Button Description

Report Name

The name assigned to the report when it was scheduled.

Edit (Edit icon)

Click this icon to open the report page to edit the report parameters and/or scheduling information. Note that any changes saved here also affect the report for the users assigned to access it.

Report Type

The type of report it is.

Scheduled By

Username of the person who scheduled the report.

Next Run Time

The date when the report is next scheduled to run.

Delete (Delete icon)

Click this icon to delete the report parameters and schedule.

If the list of reports is long, click on a page number at the bottom of the list to view the additional reports.
