Data Summary: Patient Records Summary

The Data Summary menu link opens the Patient Records Summary page in the application, which is available to both State users and Organization/Facility users. The graphs on this page quickly show the user important information about patient and vaccination record data quality.

To switch between Pre-Production and Production stages (if applicable), select the correct stage from the drop-down list on the top right side of the page.

The following graphs are displayed on this page:

HL7 Message Milestone Tracker - Displays the number of HL7 messages at four milestones: HL7 Validation, Issue Resolution Validation, Processing in the IIS, and Saved in the IIS. This highlights data bottlenecks and aids the user in determining the need for additional investigation or troubleshooting. The graph displays the milestone and the number of HL7 messages.

Patient Records Accepted by IIS - Of the number of patient records accepted by the IIS, this graph displays the number of patient records that are new versus updates.

Patient Records in Processing - Of the number of patient records currently being processed, this graph displays the number of patient records in Ambiguous ID and the number in Manual Deduplication.

Vaccination Records Received by the IIS - Displays the total number of vaccination records received by the IIS for the month, along with the number of updates to records and the number of unique vaccination records.

Vaccination Records Accepted by the IIS - Of the number of vaccination records accepted by the IIS, this graph displays the number of Administered and Historical vaccinations.

Record Errors Received by PHC-Hub - Of the records with errors received by PHC Hub, this graph displays the number of vaccination level errors and the number of patient level errors.

Top 5 Record Errors - Displays the five most common record errors received. Click a bar to display the detailed patient information for an error in a pop-up window, along with the HL7 field, issue, type, recommendation, and the date/time of import. The issues can also be marked as fixed on the pop-up window. Click away from the window to close it.

Top 5 Record Warnings - Displays the five most common record warnings received. Click a bar to display the detailed patient information for a warning in a pop-up window, along with the HL7 field, issue, type, recommendation, and the date/time of import. The issues can also be marked as fixed on the pop-up window. Click away from the window to close it.

For each graph on this page, additional information displays when the mouse hovers over a graph bar or pie slice.

The available icons, filters, and buttons on this page are:

Filter/Icon	Description
Pre-Production / Production filter	If the iQ application is being used in pre-production, select Pre-Production from the drop-down list. Otherwise, if the iQ application has moved to production, select Production. The data that is retrieved and displayed on this page depends on whether or not the application is "live" (in Production) or not (Pre-Production).
Filter icon	If the filter section is hidden, click the gray Filter iconto open it. The Filter icon turns bluewhen the filter section on the page is open. Click the blue Filter icon to hide the filter section again.
Filter by	Select the filter options from these drop-down lists: Year (required) Time Frequency (appears after a year is selected) - Quarterly (select Quarter), Monthly (select Month), or 10 Day Interval (select Month and then 10 Day Interval) (required) EHR Vendor Import Profile ID (limited by the organization/facility entered in the search bar) Connectivity User (based on HL7 system connection login)
Search	Click this button to submit the filter criteria and display the search results.
Reset	Click this button to reset all of the filter criteria to start over again.
