School Nurse Module Features

The School Nurse Module provides school nurses with a special level of access to view patient information and vaccinations, and to create annual reports for the Office of Public Health (OPH). Currently there are four different levels of access, depending on task involvement:

• School Nurse
• School Nurse / Facility Nurse
• School District Client
• School Nurse Coordinator
• Depending on the user access (authorization) level, the following tasks can be performed with this module:
• Search for patients
• Create and edit patient demographics (first name, last name, address, city, state, etc.)
• Add vaccinations and exemptions
• Set up personal defaults per patient, vaccine lot inventory, and automatic population of city, state, and zip code
• Search for and edit schools
• Add and edit student absences
• Run and print reports
• Export data via the CASA export
