IWeb 5.17.5 Administrator User Guide |
Authorized users can access the School Nurse properties by clicking on the Administration > Settings > Properties link, then clicking on the School Nurse category heading. These settings relate to the School Nurse module and users.
To configure the settings, enable (select) or disable (deselect) the options, enter any required information, and click Save at the bottom of the page. Changes affect users the next time they log in to the application or module.
Click Reset to erase new or updated entries and reset them as they were after the last submit was done.
The options and fields on this page are as follows:

Allow School Nurse Coordinator to Access Student Roster |
Select this option to allow users with the School Nurse Coordinator access level to use the Student Roster link on the menu. |

Display School Requirements Reminder |
Select this option to allow School Nurse module users to see the School Requirements Reminder text. |

Enable Exemption at Patient Level |
Select this option to allow an exemption to be entered at the patient level. This also removes the "Dissent and Exemption wording" from the School Nurse Student Detail report. |

Enable Exemption at Vaccine Level |
Select this option to allow an exemption to be entered at the vaccine level. This results in a new button displaying on the Vaccination view/add page to display the Add Exemption - Additional Disease Information page. A new exemption option of Parent or Patient Refusal: Religious is also available. |

Enable Export of the FTE Report |
Select this option to allow the FTE report to be exported. |

Enable School Attendance |
Select this option to allow the School Attendance option to display in the School Nurse module. |

Enable School Non-Reporting Checkbox |
Select this option to allow the Non-Reporting option to appear in the Administration > Define Values > Define Schools settings. A column also appears on the Facilities Not Reporting and Export reports within the School Nurse module. |

Enable School Nurse Confidentiality Agreement |
Select this option to display the School Nurse Confidentiality Agreement, which must be accepted (or rejected) by users logging in to the School Nurse module. This agreement lasts for the duration of the school year. |

Enable State to State |
Select this option to allow the School Nurse user to query other immunization registries for existing patient vaccination records. Enabling this option displays the Remote Registry link under the School Nurse Patient menu. Note that the option is unavailable (grayed-out) until the connection settings are created. The Administration > Settings > Properties > HL7 Interface > Share with Other Registries by Default option must also be enabled. Make a note of the Facility ID to be provided for the remote registry. |

Enable Vaccine Administration Permission |
Select this option to allow users with the School Nurse Vaccine Administrator permission to administer vaccines and record historical vaccinations from their School Nurse login. They have full edit/delete permissions on vaccines entered by their Organization (IRMS). Vaccinations administered by School Nurse users with this permission do not show as unverified. |

Hide HBIG in School Nurse |
Select this option to prevent the HBIG (Hepatitis B Immune Globulin) vaccine from displaying after giving a historical shot. When a user attempts to select the HBIG vaccine on the Vaccination view/add page, the HBIG vaccination added successfully but will not display due to property settings message appears. The shot is saved, but it does not display for the user. |

Hide School Nurse Reports in Core IWeb |
Select this option to hide the Reports > School Reports link for users logged in to the IWeb core application. |

Include in School Nurse Reports on Patient Add |
Select this option to include the patient information in School Nurse reports when the user adds a new patient. |

Mark Invalid Vaccinations on Official Student Immunization Report |
Select this option to allow invalid vaccinations to be marked while viewing the Official Student Immunization Report within the School Nurse module. |

Populate SN School in Patient Demographics |
Select this option to automatically populate the name of the school on the Patient Demographics page. The following occurs:

Prevent Deletion of Historical Shots |
Select this option to prevent School Nurse module users from deleting historical shots. When this option is enabled, the Delete button is removed from the Vaccination Delete page. |

Prevent School Nurse from Editing Vaccinations |
Select this option to prevent School Nurse module users from editing vaccinations within the School Nurse module. |
|
Prevent School Nurse Users from Inactivating Patients |
Select this option to prevent School Nurse module users from inactivating patients within the School Nurse module. |

Require County for School Nurse Users |
Select this option to require School Nurse module users to select a county/parish/borough/census area. |
|
Require School for School Nurse Access Level |
When this option is selected (enabled), School is a required field on the User Add/Edit page for School Nurse users and School Nurse users cannot change their school after login. When this option is not selected (disabled), School is not a required field on the User Add/Edit page for School Nurse users and even if a school is assigned to the user, the user can change the school after login (the Select School menu link is available for use). |

Show Most Current (private) Patient Address |
Select this option to allow the most current (private) address to display on the School Nurse module Demographics page. |

Show the Action Report Menu Selection |
Select this option to allow the Reports > Action Report link to appear in the School Nurse module. |

Show the FTE Action Report Menu Selection |
Select this option to allow the Reports > FTE Action Report link to appear in the School Nurse module. |
