The available fields and options in the Additional Settings section of the Vaccine Preferences by Dose to Override ACIP Schedule Recommendations elements are as follows:
Field/Option | Description |
Assume DTaP History for patients age >= ? years | This setting provides the ability to forecast Td booster
doses for an adult with no prior DTaP history whose age is
>= the designated age for the property.
Example: The Assume DTaP History to 21 years of age forecasts booster Td doses for a person >=21 years old is set instead of forecasting a primary series. If a second dose is administered within one year of the first dose, the forecast recommends dose 3 as completing a primary series. |
Use pre 2009 ACIP guideline for IPV | Select this option to evaluate all polio doses under the recommendations that were in effect prior to August 7, 2009. Those guidelines allowed a minimum interval of 4 weeks between doses 3 and 4 and a minimum age of 18 weeks for dose 4 to be considered valid and complete in the series regardless of when the doses were administered. |
Display single antigens in forecast (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) | The single antigens are used to derive an MMR dose if all 3 types are present in the patient's history and evaluated as valid. Select this setting to display subsequent forecasts for these single antigens if a first dose is administered. If you do not select this setting, only MMR is displayed in the forecast, even though the single antigens are validated. |
