Assign an Import Profile to a User

You can assign a default import profile to use when the import profile ID is not defined in the HTTPS Post parameters. The import profile to use is determined by:

If an import profile ID is defined in the HTTPS Post parameters, it is used before all other configurations
If no import profile ID is defined in the HTTPS Post parameters but a user profile link exists for that user, the mapped import profile ID is used
If no import profile ID is defined in the HTTPS Post parameters and no user profile link exists for that user, the import profile defined for the organization that the user is associated with is used. If the organization has more than one import profile defined for it, the first profile that is currently enabled is used

To assign an import profile to a user, click the Import Profiles > User Profile Link menu link. On the User Import Profile page that opens, in the Import Profile column, select an import profile for the user from the Select Import Profile drop-down list. Only users created in IWeb for the selected organization display in the list. Click Save when finished.
