Getting Started

Application users may be caseworkers, program managers, coordinators, or other people who are responsible for tracking HepB data. There are two levels of application user access that are configured by a system administrator:

All Peri HepB application users have a responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of the data stored within the system.

Log In

Before logging in, make sure you have your username and password available. Note that usernames and passwords are case-sensitive and should be kept confidential.

  1. Open Internet Explorer (IE) and enter the web address (URL) for your state's Perinatal Hepatitis B Case Manager website. For example, https://www.webhepb.com. The Perinatal Hepatitis B Case Manager application page appears. Example:

  2. Enter your username and password. The application session begins at this time and the user's access level is stored in memory for the duration of the session.

Depending on your user access level, different menus and/or options are available.

Log Out

Once you log in, a set of menus/links appears in the header bar along the top of the application. Click the Logout link to log out of the application. Close the browser window after logging out.

Change Password

To change your password, click the Sys Admin > Change Password link in the header bar. Enter your current password, then enter your new password and confirm it by entering it again. Click Change Password to save the changes. A confirmation message appears at the top of the page.

Click Reset to clear the fields and start over.

To cancel the password change and return to the main Search page, click the Cancel icon (Cancel icon). If prompted whether you want to leave or stay on the page, select the option to leave the page.
