This report is also referred to as Epi-Curve Graph.
The Epi Curve report displays a graph in which the number of new cases of the selected disease is plotted against the selected time period defined by the report parameters. The graph information can be further broken down by time interval.
This report does not offer HTML output and only the PDF report includes both the graph and the data. The CSV format report includes the data, but other software must be used, such as a spreadsheet or database program, to create and view the graph.
To run this report, select the Reports > Epi Curve menu link, which opens the Epi-Curve Graph page. Enter the report parameter options and click View PDF Report or View CSV Report, depending on the file format in which you want to review the report. To reset all of the options to their default values and start over, click Reset.
The available fields and options for this report are as follows:
| Field/Option | Description |
| Time Period | Select Month (and select the month from the drop-down list and enter the year; the current year is the default), MMWR week (and enter the week number), or From/To Date range (and enter the From and To dates). Month is the default. |
| Time Interval | Select By Month, By MMWR Week, or By Day. |
| Geographic Area | Select a geographic area: State Wide, Nation Wide, Out of State, Zip (and enter a zip code), County (and select a county or ALL from the list box), District (select a district from the list box), or Local Health Jurisdiction (and select from the list box). |
| Disease or Disease Group | Select a disease name from the list box. |
| Report Selection Criteria | To limit the report to a specific Case Classification or Investigation Status, select it and then select a classification or status from the related list box. |
