The Case Action report is used to let caseworkers know what is due for infants and contacts in need of vaccinations. This report is available to both user access levels, Administrator and Investigator.
To run the Case Action report, click the Reports > Case Action menu link. The Report page opens with the Case Action option pre-selected. Enter the report parameters and click Search. Click Clear to clear the parameters and start over. The available report parameters are as follows:
| Field | Description |
| Project Due Between * | Enter the From and To dates for when the action is due or click the calendar icon and select the dates. These fields are required. |
| Case Worker | To limit the report to a specific caseworker, enter the first few characters of the name and then select it from the drop-down list. |
| County / Parish / Borough | To limit the report to a specific county, parish, or borough, enter the first few characters of the name and then select it from the drop-down list. |
| Infant Premature | To limit the report to whether or not the infants were born prematurely, select Yes, No, or Unknown from the drop-down list. |
| Action Required | To limit the report to a specific action required, select either Needs next Hep B vaccine or Needs serology test from the drop-down list. |
| Facility Type | To limit the report to a specific facility type, select it from the drop-down list. |
| Pediatric Provider | To limit the report to a specific pediatric provider, enter the first few characters of the name and then select it from the drop-down list. |
| Delivery Provider | To limit the report to a specific delivery provider, enter the first few characters of the name and then select it from the drop-down list. |
| Prenatal Provider | To limit the report to a specific prenatal provider, enter the first few characters of the name and then select it from the drop-down list. |
| Case Type * | Select either Infants or Contacts as the case type. This field is required. |
Once the report has been generated, it appears in the Case Results section on the page.
The following columns of information appear for the report:
| Column | Description | |
| Case Number | The number assigned to the case.

| Contact/Infant Name | The name of the contact or infant, depending on the selected case type. | |
| DOB | The contact's or infant's date of birth. | |
| Age (in years) (Contacts) | The age of the contact, in years, if the Contacts case type was selected. | |
| Age (in months) (Infants) | The age of the infant, in months and days, if the Infants case type was selected. | |
| Pediatric Practice (Infants) | If Infants was selected as the case type, this is the name
of the infant's pediatric practice. You can view the details
of the pediatric practice by clicking the View Details icon
( ). |

| Premature Indicator (Infants) | If Infants was selected as the case type, Yes displays in this column if the infant was born prematurely. | |
| Action Required | The current required action. | |
| Action Due | The action due date. Past due dates are in red. | |
| View Tracker (Infants) | If an Activity Tracker was added, click the View link to view it. See Activity Tracker for more information. | |
| View Case | To view the details of the case, click the View Case link for the patient. Depending on the selected case type (Infants or Contacts), the Case Detail page opens and displays the information. See View Case Details for more information. |
To export the report, click Export.
Once the report has been generated and the details are displayed in the Case Results section on the Report page, click the View Case link to view the details for a specific infant or contact. Depending on the case type, either the Contact Case Detail or the Infant Case Detail page opens. The information displayed on this page is as follows:

To return to the
main Report page, click the Return to the Previous Page icon (
).
To import vaccinations,
click the Import Vaccinations icon (
).

Search for more information about editing case information.
If a mother's case
is associated with an infant, click the View Mother's Case icon (
) to see those details.
