Year to Date Disease by Area and Time Report

This report is also referred to as Year to Date Disease by Geographic Area and Timeframe for a Given Year.

The Year to Date Disease by Area and Time report displays a count of all cases that fall within the specified time period, geographic area, and disease information as defined by the report parameters. The information included in the report is determined by the selected display column options.

NOTE: The Disease Name #2 field is enabled only when one - and only one - disease name is selected and that disease has secondary diseases.

It is possible for a case to be excluded from the counts if a piece of geographic detail is missing. For example, if a case has a region/district (due to their being a county for the case), the case is counted in the regional/district version of the report. If the breakdown is by zip code and there is no zip code on the address, the case is excluded from the counts entirely when the report is run by zip code.

To run this report, select the Reports > Year to Date Disease by Area and Time menu link, which opens the Year to Date Disease by Geographic Area and Timeframe for a Given Year page. Enter the report parameter options and click View HTML Report, View PDF Report, or View CSV Report, depending on the file format in which you want to review the report. To reset all of the options to their default values and start over, click Reset.

Field/Option	Description
Table Type	The Counts table type is automatically selected.
Time Period	Enter the ending year. The current year is the default.
Display Interval	Select this display interval: By Month (select the Through month from the drop-down list) or By Week (enter the Through week number, 1-52).
Geographic Area	Select a geographic area: District (default; select the district name or ALL), County (select the county or ALL), City (select the city), or Zip (enter the zip code).
Disease or Disease Group	Select the disease name from the list box.
Report Selection Criteria	To limit the report to a specific Case Classification or Investigation Status, select it and then select a classification or status from the related list box.
