Explanation of Cutoff Date
The cutoff date is defined on the STC Config page. Administrative users
can add or edit two configuration keys by enabling the Debug Mode permission
(Administrative Debug Permissions). Once you are finished making the changes,
remember to disable the Debug Mode permission. The two configuration keys
are:
- keep.cdc.export.cutoff.date.month
- keep.cdc.export.cutoff.date.day
The export uses the following logic:
- If the export is run before the cutoff date,
the export start date is MMWR Week 01 of the previous year
- If the export is run on a day that is on
or after the cutoff date, the export start date is MMWR Week 01 of
the current year
The following examples use the sample cutoff date of 04/15 (April 15th):
- If the export is run on 08/13/2015, the cases
from MMWR 01-2015 through MMWR 31-2015 are included
- If the export is run on 02/10/2015, the cases
from MMWR 01-2014 through MMWR 05-2015 are included
- If the export is run on 12/31/2015, the cases
from MMWR 01-2015 through MMWR 52-2015 are included
- If the export is run on 01/02/2016, the cases
from MMWR 01-2015 through MMWR 01-2016 are included. The start MMWR
date remains until 04/15. Administrative users have four months to
change the cutoff date for 2016 because it may be different from year
to year
